Kids in the Garden: Making a Rain Gauge
The weather bureau has lots of helpers in the state to take official readings of rainfall totals. It's interesting to note that weather patterns and rainfall totals vary according to where you live, depending on many factors. The totals are kept by ordinary people who have volunteered to take readings on their rain gauges for the bureau.
